The feeling of taking first place after a long year of racing motivates me for the upcoming season!
Because of a bad forecast, we only raced 2 days out of 4, but I had a lot of fun rounding the buoys with the boys.
Due to the lack of races on the first day, there was uncertainty about the title and the validity of the competition. For the competition to be valid, there must be at least three races.
My goal was to win the title, and I was always ready to go on the water. In fact, I had the opportunity to complete a race that was canceled because most of the athletes were not able to finish it.
On the last hour of last day, the wind came and we were able to complete five races. On those races, I demonstrated my capability and the consistency that this sport requires. Physically and mentally, I was prepared and the motivation was there to push me further.
It's time to prepare for next year's season and focus on my goals.
